I had intended this to be a one hour study. But I bit off more than I could chew. And tried to paint too large a painting.

His head is tucked away in front of his body. It's just the camera angle.

I did this painting on Memorial day at a new spot near my home. I was amazed after painting how long I had actually been at the painting process. I got to the spot around 9am or so. I walked around to scout out the area.
Then I started painting. I didn't finish until about 3pm! I was really enjoying myself.
